Although there is a definate jazz "sound" to Cobbett's music the word doesn't begin to get into the soul of the man's genius. It is more an experience than a sound. It swings like a cool breeze on a hot Jamaican night then mellows to greet the sundrenched "peaceful morning". Lay back and let it sink into your soul.

Nice album. Apart from the Rhodes songs "Aint Done Nothing" and "December 18th" (should I be surprised that these are Simon's favourites?) the straight jazz songs like "Blues for Dave" and "There's No end" are also fine. Not a bad track on this one.

The file is fine. Sometimes rapidshare have temporary problems which can prevent you dl-ing the file. You might try waiting a bit and then retrying. If you are actually getting a rapidshare page then I think you should be OK eventually.
I don't know what ISP you're on - there used to be an issue with one or two of them and rapidshare (BT in the UK for example) but I thought this had been resolved - could be wrong though.

Would anyone have any info on Ruper Cobbet? Back ground, career ect.....
There's little or nothing about him on line. There is a facebook page. But there's not a whole lot on it. I think he died in 2005.
